Whether you have a current love affair with the breed, enjoyed the company of Irish in the past, or are completely new to the breed we hope this resource will inspire your commitment to this wonderful breed of dog.
The objects of the club are:
a) to encourage and promote the breeding of pure-bred Irish Setters and to do all possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection.
b) to urge members and breeders to accept the standard of the breed as approved by the American Kennel Club as the only standard of excellence by which Irish Setters shall be judged.
c) to do all in its power to protect and advance the interests of the breed and to encourage sportsmanlike competition by conducting licensed specialty shows, obedience trials, field trials and hunt tests under the rules and procedures of the American Kennel Club.
